19641/2 Ford Mustang Convertible

This is an early Mustang and it's almost totally correct for 64 1/2
THIS IS ONE GREAT MUSTANG

This is a very early, very correct Mustang that has been in a private collection for a long time. I have been going over this car and there are 2 things that are not correct that I could find. The carpets are '65 '66. The red top is not correct, but it sure looks great. The more I drive and look it over the more impressed I am about the condition of this Mustang. Make sure you watch the video. You will have a real hard time finding one any better.  This Mustang was stored in one of those air bags for years. Now has a new gas tank and filler tube. New gas tank sending unit. New wheel cylinders front and rear. New fuel pump. New battery. Changed oil and filter.  This Mustang is ready to drive. And drive it does. It's real tight, no rattles or noises, nice and quiet. It's a pleasure to drive. I have looked this Mustang over and I'm not sure that it's not the original paint. The speedo shows 38,000 miles and it must be 138,000, but I don't know for sure. There is a Motorcraft oil change sticker on the door jam from 1987 showing 88,541 miles. This is one of the best '64 1/2's I have ever owned.  The paint is beautiful and so is the red interior. The base on the front passenger seat looks like a cat may have clawed it. It's not real bad and it's so original, I don't want to change anything. And the engine compartment is show. It is so stock and not played with it's hard to believe. Driving is a pleasure, very quiet. When I bought it I did not realize what prize I had. Even has the jack and lug wrench.  You could either add this Mustang to your collection or make it a trailer queen.   260 V-8. AT. PS. Power top. Cond. 1-.
