1960 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster

Sale Pending Fun Driver Quality Corvette
I just bought this 60 solid axle Corvette and today I got a chance to take it out and drive it a little bit. We need to do a few things to it. But I have to tell you it runs and drives great. I almost didn't buy it because of the paint. It's got gold flake in the white paint and also gold flake in the red paint. The Corvette was painted in 1971. It has some stress cracking. What would really set this Corvette off would be to strip it to bare glass and repaint it. I do not plan to do this and I wish it wasn't going into winter because I would drive this Corvette a lot. There's something about a solid axle Corvette that's just fun to drive. I know they don't drive great. It's more like driving a truck, but still it's a 60 Corvette. The Corvette was bought in 1972 in Reno and had the same owner for a number of years. The son got the Vette in 1981. I have a registration from 1981. I was told it was an actual mile car of 39,000 miles but I have a hard time believing that so I'm selling it unknown mileage. Right now it looks like all the gauges work, but the heater blower does not function. Has a cable release for the trunk lock which is broken. The soft top looks like new, and it hasn't been on very long. If you're looking for a “driver” Corvette and you don't want a “show queen”, this Corvette may work just fine for you. Again I was really impressed with how well it ran and drove even though we have to do a few things, like adjust the clutch and shift linkage.  This is one of those cars that I'm not in any hurry to sell but the price is very affordable.  Will have a lot more to say about this Corvette after we get it serviced and safety checked.   Cond. # 3 -.

New Just In; What does that mean? It means we just got this vehicle in and we need to get it ready to sell. We always services and safety check our vehicles before we sell them. When we go over the vehicle we learn more about it and we can then do a better description for you. We also new to do a complete set of photos and the video and then we are ready to sell. We will and we have sold them before we get all things finished.
