1947 Ford Coupe 302 V-8 AT. PS.

I was not sure if I wanted to buy this coupe or not.  I'm not into Rat Rods and not sure I would call it a Rat Rod. Yes, the body is black primer. The fenders are beautiful blue paint.  I have tons of receipts.  In 2008 looks like about $28,000 was spent, then in 2010, 2011 & 2012 about $10,000. And I did not find an invoice for the 302 engine installed in 2010.  The engine and transmission are solid mounted. Looks to be over $50,000 spent on it. As you can see a lot of money went into building this coupe. I like driving it because of  how it's set up.   Automatic.  Power rack and pinion steering, Mustang II front clip, tilt column, front disc brakes with a dual master cylinder.  Power windows.  Electric cooling fan.  Optima gel battery. Bumpers re-chromed.  When getting this '47 ready to sell we found that 3 of the 4 wheels were bad so we installed brand new 17” American Racing 5 spoke wheels and new tires. What a difference. It had a bad vibration at 55 MPH and up.  We thought it was tire balance? The interior is good and like 3 different colors?  The dash looks great. VDO gauges. Custom steering wheel. No heat or air. This is a frame off restoration and you can see some of the pictures with the other photos.  Joe, at Old School Garage, did the service and safety check. He got it running well so it will make you a great car to own and enjoy.    1947 Ford Coupe 5 passenger.   Cond. # 2.
