1966 FORD MUSTANG GT CONVERTIBLE

A Real GT Mustang Matching #s red body with a newer white convertible top. Red deluxe pony interior. Engine is a 289 CI V-8 with performance upgrades. The engine has a Holley 4 barrel carb, Edlebrock intake, mild cam, full roller valve train, aluminum heads, Mallory ignition, and Cobra dress up kit. Upper chrome support bar. The transmission is a Borg Warner T-10 4 speed rebuilt with OEM and NOS parts. We have receipts to go with the Mustang for the work done. The rear-end gearing is 3.25:1. Seat belts front and rear. Red convertible boot. Custom console. Rally gauges. Correct 66 style steel wheels and newer tires. This is a real GT and not a fake like 90% are. The underside is very good, I did not find any rust. This mustang has a D.S.O. of Texas and it spent most of its life there. This is a strong running and great driving Mustang. Has a great body, very solid. The paint is weak. It may look great, but on very close inspection you will find it was very poorly painted. A couple of small rust bubbles right side. I would ask $40,000 or more if the paint were sharp.
