1959 CHEVROLET EL CAMINO

Barn Find Chevy 348 V-8 with 4 bbl carb. Automatic transmission. Power steering. Power brakes. Sherm owned this El Camino 28 years and if I remember right his brother owned it before him. In 1994 Sherm paid around $10,000 and had the El Camino stripped and painted and it was not a great job. In 1998 the interior was restored and the upholstery looks good. Does not have the vent window cranks? From 1994 till now 520 miles. Its been in the barn. You will not believe how nice that 348 runs. While driving it I noticed that the steering has a tight spot in it. Needs to be looked at. The tires are old and cracked. The rear bumper needs to be replaced. Has some rust, check out the photos. I found a little rust underneath the bed. I have not had it up on the hoist yet. So far I have driven it about 8 miles. It needs to be restored. Im think about selling it just like I found it. No nothing, as is, where is. It will not be long before I do the service and safety check. The more I do, the more I will want. I have the radio and some other trim things but not much. You do not find these much any more especially with a 348 that runs great. If youre interested make me a good offer or I will not sell it. Im really thinking about fixing it up and keeping it for a driver. Youll like this, I thought I would see if the wipers work and yes they do, but I could not get them to shut off.
