1965 Ford Mustang Convertible 289 V-8 3790

Real Clean Nice Mustang Convertible Same owner the last 29 years. It was restored in 1985 and this was the 21st Mustang he had restored and he kept this one. In those years it was driven 8,567 miles. New paint, interior, top, tires and engine rebuilt. You can tell it's been garage kept. Yes, has some chips and scratches from just being around all these years. Nothing big, but things happen. It was dusty more than anything. It's a C code 289 V-8 engine which means 2 barrel carburetor. C4 automatic transmission. Power top that works well. No power steering or brakes. He told us he put this Mustang together from a lot of parts. He said he bought most right from the Ford dealer in Yakima, Washington. The drivers' door is from a different Mustang but the correct door data tag was in the glove box and we reinstalled it. Andrew drove it home about 30 miles and it ran great. I drove it home to take photos. I like the way it runs and drives. Taking the photos of the underside showed us this is an almost rust free Mustang. We found 2 very small pin holes on the right rear fender by the lower drain vent, that was it and you have to look close. Everything else on the underside looked great.
