DGC1819. One family owned. It's not beendrivenvery much. It's clean and it runs and drives great. I was told that it had only 21,715 original miles and was stored in a barn by the original owner until 1979. The title was then transferred to family and used for Avanti shows & minor joyrides. Garage stored. Looking it over I knew it was 121,715 miles and Joe at Old School Garage confirmed it when he did the service and safety check.It has the Studebaker 289 V8 Engine with an automatic transmission. Power steering, power brakes. I have been doing this for a long time and I have had several Studebakers over the years. But this is the first Avanti that I've ever owned. This Avanti took second place in the 1985 AOA Western States meet in the custom class. I do not know what's custom about it, because it looks totally stock to me. The tires were really old so we installed new tires. Cond. # 3 +.

We charge a $50.00 doc fee for instate and $100.00 doc fee for out of state sales on top of the selling price. The State of Washington says we can charge up to $150.00 doc fee that is negotiable. The doc fees cover costs such as trip permits and FedEx costs.
We sell all of our vehicles AS IS, NO WARRANTY. We check them over, we do a report card and we grade and decode each vehicle. We have them serviced and safety checked. You can see these reports on our web page www.dragers.com We try very hard to tell you everything that we know. We give you lots of photos and video so you can see the vehicles very well. We have been in classic sales for more than 30 years.
Drager’s believes that it is very important to personally inspect the vehicle you are interested in. If you cannot inspect it yourself you should hire an inspector. Here are two very knowledgeable old car appraisers you can contact.
