1966 OLDSMOBILE 442 CONVERTIBLE

This a real Matching #s. 400 V-8 V code= 442 350 HP engine. 4 speed trans. R paint code= Target red. Trim code 985= red. This is one fast running car. Drivers really well and very quite I think it needs Flow Masters for some bark. The trans and clutch are smooth. Its a joy to drive you will like it. Every one kept telling me what a nice car. Very straight body. Now when you look at the photos you will think show winner but the paint up close is not and I took photos for you to see the paint problems and may be hard to see but what this car needs is new paint. Inside under florescent lights you can see the imperfections and out side in the sun you cant. I would tell you this is a driver quality car that looks great at 5. The chrome from 5 looks good to but they need to be re-chromed. There is pitting in some of the trim. The interior is good with some minor issues. There is a very small tear on the right side of the dash pad. So look the photos over very closely. The top is older and in good condition. The rear window looks almost new. The underside is in very good condition its not show. I have seen no signs of rust or rust repair. Again I cant tell you how nice it is to drive. You can be rolling and stand on it and you will smoke the tires. Or be driving down the road and floor it you will feel the secondaries open up. What fun. Only 2,750 442 convertibles were built.
