1939 Ford
Business Coupe Standard
Sold
1939 Ford Coupe Flathead V-8 DGC4529. VIN. 186274529. It's been restored stock. '39 was the last year for the shift lever to be on the floor and first year for hydraulic brakes. Powered by a Ford 221 cu. in. Flathead engine 85 HP. 3 speed transmission. Painted black and the paint looks great. Shows 5067 unknown miles. I have looked this Ford over very well up on the hoist and it has had a great life. I did not find any rust except 2 little holes in the trunk storage bin. The floor pans look awesome. The interior looks original, it's all in good shape but you can see discoloration in spots. All the glass has the Ford script. I can't be sure but I think it's the original glass. I can't remember when I have seen that? I have a lot of photos so look them over closely. It runs and drives very well. Even the dome light works. This is a standard Ford (note the single tail light ).
