1936 FORD STREET ROD 5 WINDOW COUPE

VINTAGE STREET ROD This 36 has been around for a long time. This is not a high tech car. Still has solid drop axle in the front. 283 Chevy V-8 engine with Power-glide Trans. Burnt Orange Copper with Black Fenders. Rear fenders are glass. Electric wipers. Crank down rear Window and roll out front window, Bucket seats and drivers side is adjustable up and down. Floor shift. Fog lights. 2 Working Spotlights. Banjo Steering Wheel and stock column with original Ford locking steering wheel. Stewart Warner gauges and speed O. Turn signals. Stock Ford V-8 Round Radio hooked up to AM/FM radio under the dash and out of sight. Rear fold down Luggage Rack. Trailer hitch. A/C ( Needs Recharge). CB radio. Air compressor. Front and rear bumperettes. Grill guard. Custom horns. Remington wide whites. Blue dots. Continental spare. Small floor jack. Greyhound hood ornament. I have been out driving the 36 and it driver good. Its quite and runs smooth. Does not have power brakes and you have to step hard. Underside is old but not bad. Its a pretty solid car. Every one seams to like the color combo. I have been driving it the last 4 days taking photos and learning about the Ford. I like driving it and would drive it most any where. Best to re-fuel before quarter of a tank ( I was lucky)The speed O is slow one photo shows 2,100 RPMs and the speed O shows 42 MPH but I was on the freeway doing about 60 MPH. Power brakes and radial tires would be a great addition. This is not a show car. From a distance the paint looks great. Up close it has some foggy areas and one spot on the rear that is checked. Its straight. Grill is fair. Interior is fine but old style. The carpets on the passenger side up under the dash are worn though by the wife using the brakes.
