1965 GMC Series Pro-Street 1000 Half-Ton Pickup. DGT965A VIN. 1001PF31965A This frame-off restoration, approximately 10 years ago, has been in the owner's possession since 2014. It boasts a powerful Big Block Supercharged 454 ci Chevrolet V8 engine, complemented by a chrome Roots blower and 4-barrel carburetor. The 700 R 4 automatic transmission seamlessly propels the vehicle.
Brand new tires were just installed
Notable modifications include a custom front and rear end, and a refurbished interior. The equipment package includes an AM/FM/CD stereo system, heat and air conditioning, an anti-theft battery shutoff switch, and an under-the-dash hood release for enhanced security.
Exterior styling features a yellow paint job with chrome accents and hardware. A Stepside bed, sourced from a 1990s pickup, has been retrofitted with wooden slats and stainless hardware. Square dual exhaust tips protrude from the rear.
Power steering and power disc brakes are employed on the front, while drum brakes are utilized on the rear. Aftermarket 6-spoke aluminum wheels enhance the vehicle's appearance.
A minor rust bubble exists on one door, and a few paint chips are noticeable. However, the overall paintwork is in excellent condition.
The suspension has been lowered after receiving a Camaro front end and Chevrolet Nova rear components.
The interior is upholstered in gray and black cloth over the split bench, featuring a built-in center console, black vinyl dash and door panels, and black carpeting.
Manually cranked windows are present, and the instrumentation is housed behind the aftermarket 3-spoke steering wheel. It comprises a comprehensive Auto Meter gauge set, including a 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, and additional dials for fuel level, battery voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure.
The odometer indicates 6,970 miles, representing the mileage accumulated since the vehicle's completion.
The engine bay is finished in body-matching yellow.
A comprehensive photo collage of the restoration process and a detailed parts inventory will be included.
To ensure its readiness for driving, Black Speed Market performed a comprehensive service and safety inspection.
