**1952 Dodge Five-Window Pilot-House Red Pickup Truck**
**Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):** 82266254 Stock # DGT6254
This exceptional Dodge pickup truck is a true gem. We have thoroughly inspected it and found no signs of rust, indicating its exceptional solidity. It is meticulously stock and original, with low mileage. Notably, it has even been recognized for its outstanding performance, winning a trophy in the survivor class.
Although we suspected that the truck had undergone a repainting job, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that it runs and drives exceptionally well. Andrew was particularly impressed during his test drive at home.
We acquired this vehicle just outside of Mount Vernon. While the interior is generally well-preserved, the backrest portion of the seat requires reupholstering.
Despite our efforts to obtain the trophy, the seller declined to return it, citing that it was his son's idea to display it at the car show and that he had given it to his son. We have photographic evidence of the trophy.
The seller initially presented the truck as a 48,000-mile original pickup. While we cannot definitively verify this mileage, we have decided to sell it as a 48,000-mile vehicle with unknown mileage. However, we believe the seller is knowledgeable about its condition.
The truck is equipped with a job-rated 95 horsepower straight-six engine and a four-on-the-floor transmission. The wood bed may not be ideal, but it is capable of accommodating any cargo you desire. It would be relatively straightforward to restore the bed with a new wood kit and chrome strips.
We considered painting the wheels red or a contrasting color, but we have not yet taken action. While we appreciate the charm of these classic Dodge trucks, this particular one stands out due to its relatively low mileage and recent conversion to 12 volts.
We highly recommend purchasing this exceptional vehicle and enjoying its unique features.
