1961 Corvette Convertible. DGC9986 VIN 10867S109986 This Corvette is going to turn out to be a really nice car. We just got it in, and we are still discovering all of the new parts. The previous owner purchased it in 2017, and it probably wasn't driven much since then. We are just servicing it and getting it freshened up from sitting. We just had it over to Corvette Alley for the service work, and it has improved dramatically with a new carburetor and fresh gas. The 327 runs strongly, and the Powerglide shifts smoothly. The speedometer shows 966 miles. That is how many miles have been put on this car since 2017. When it had a lot of restoration work done to its engine and transmission, it got painted. We have the receipts for all the work we've done. I bought this car locally, and it came out of an estate. I really like the color combination on this Corvette. And it has a beautiful black canvas convertible top. The other thing I like about this car is that it's automatic. I don't care personally to be shifting cars all that much anymore, so automatic in a Corvette is just fine with me.
