1940 FORD STREET ROD PICKUP
Great Driver Great driver quality PU. All steel. Running a small block 283 Chevy engine. 350 Turbo automatic transmission with floor shifter. Volare torsion bar front end with disc brakes. We replaced the rack and pinion as it was bad. Chevy rear end. Custom VDO gauges. Tilt column with a custom wood steering wheel. I like this PU, its fun to drive and I get a lot of thumbs up. I have driven it over 200 miles in the past few days (I even took my daughter to the airport) it just makes a great cruiser. Yes, its old like me. It shakes, rattles and squeaks but it does not roll. Very solid all steel body. I have no idea how long ago it was built. Remember this is a driver so over the years its gotten chips in the paint but not a dent. The dark blue with silver fenders look good. Has remote door openers and we installed a button under the hood just in case you shut the door with the windows up. It works, I know first hand. The bed has a stained plywood plate, looks fine. Under the hood is clean but not detailed. Just doing that would be great for showing it off. Im going to take it cruising tonight. The underside is not bad, nothing to look at but its solid under there. Its all serviced, safety checked and ready for your driving pleasure. \r\n Dragers believes that it is very important to personally inspect the vehicle you are interested in.
