1964 PORCHE 356 C COUPE

What do you think is this a SURVIVOR Porsche? 3 owner Porsche. Another great feature, I could not find any rust. This was a California car most of its life. I was amazed how smooth everything worked when I drove it for the first time. Im not sure at this point if its original paint or not? I was told that it is an original Ruby red car that has had minor touchup paint, and also that this is a rare accident free and rust free vehicle. My body guy said the fit was great and he felt that it had never been hit. We installed the original steering wheel and seat belts. We had the original seats rebuilt and reupholstered and installed. This makes the Porsche look a lot better and its all stock now. The only bad thing we could find in the body was the bottom of the battery box has been replaced, Im sure from battery acid and not rust. This Porsche was originally equipped with a 1600 cc four-cylinder split case 85 hp engine with 8.5:1 compression pistons, dual Solex carbs, 6 volt electrical system and four-wheel disc brakes. The engine has been completely rebuilt by a master Porsche engine rebuilder. Now it has 1750 cc cylinder heads and 9.1:1 Pistons, modified cam with dual Weber carbs. The case #s do not match. Koni shock absorbers. Joe at Old School Garage did the service and safety check on this Porsche. Joe knows these cars very well and has done an excellent job making sure that everything is in very good order. If you have any questions Im sure Joe would be happy to answer them for you. What a great find. I have been having a great time driving the 356. It would be very easy to keep this Porsche. It may not be nice enough for a purest but you might not find one as nice. In the photos note the California registration from 1978. I would tell you to come and inspect it for yourself.
