1948 Ford Super Deluxe 2 door sedan

Clean Full Frame off Restoration This is an amateur frame off restoration. Now has 1,000 miles on the restoration. The flathead engine was rebuilt and runs very nicely. Clutch and transmission work very well. I was impressed on how well this '48 ran down the freeway. It cruises 55 to 65 so easily. Handles very well too. That could be because of the front and rear stabilizers. The paint of course is new and it's not show paint. If you look you will find some blemishes. Some of the stainless should have been sent out to be straightened.  The hood fit could be better. The interior is all new and looks good, but you can tell that it was not done at a high end upholstery shop.  You may not notice this in the photos. I will try to point all this out in the video. What I'm saying is, if you want a show car you need to look elsewhere. Now if you want a great driver that you will get lots of thumbs up and be a great car for a long time I think you need to check this '48 Ford out. Being a frame off the underside is very clean and good. I have not found any rust. Both front floor pans have been patched and if you look hard on the underside photos you can see the lines, but not much. They did a good job. The rest of the floor pans look beautiful. Old School Garage did the service and safety check.  After driving the 50 miles back from Joe's I would drive this '48 anywhere. Cond.  2-.
