1964 Mercury
Parklane
Sold
1964 Mercury Parklane Convertible. DGC0277. VIN# 4Z65Z510277. V-8, Automatic, Power Steering, Power Brakes. This Mercury is in great shape, the body is straight and the paint looks great. This car has been in the same family since 1969. ( see photo of '69 title )The car was repainted at one time and has been covered in a garage for the last several years. We are going to have the convertible top replaced. The top that's currently on the car looks ok, but it has a small patch and a new top it the only way to fix it properly. Beyond the repaint, this car is pretty original and in good shape. The interior is showing some light wear, but still in great shape. This is a car you don't see too often and would stand out at car events. This Is a great find. The fact that it has been setting for a number of years Andrew and I loaded onto our rollback and took it straight to George. I told George to install new wheel cylinders first then pull or clean the gas thank tank. Go thought the carburetor. Do the service ad safety check and make sure it's good. George even installed a new fuel pump. Check the cooling system belt and hoses. Over $3,000.00 to make sure it is good. Now going to Scott for new top and some touch up. It's sure good looking car. I do not remember the last time I saw one. There are only a few photos till we get it all finished the we will take a lot more for you. We did not find any rust.
I will sell it to you just the way it sits. The top is usable the way it is. has a small hole that has been patched. Also it has not been detailed. $19,995
Or $25,000 After we are finished.
