1962 FORD GALAXIE 500 XL

A Real Survivor Ford This is a real survivor car. Its a 3 owner all original and 71,000 miles. I have the original window sticker and Bill of Sale. It was sold in Tacoma Wa. and has lived in the Northwest its whole life. We have the Bill of Sale to the second owner. Its very nice and its all original. It has never been repainted, has the original interior and the engine has not been rebuilt. Yes, the tires have been replaced. We put new ones on as one tire was not even legal to drive. This Ford has a hood ornament. We were told only 200 cars got hood ornaments. The paint is very good and yes you can find some paint chips but not much. The rear bumper is dented on the right side ( see photo ) The first owner had it running in his garage and somehow slipped into reverse, luckily it hit the garage door divider post. Just think, if it had gone out of the garage you probably would not now be checking this car out. Further proof that this car is a real survivor. What you see is real. We did repair the right exhaust manifold as it had a bad exhaust leak, I just could not sell it that way. Interior is really in very good condition. The carpets look excellent. Its a beautiful car with its white paint and red interior. The engine compartment is clean. Checking out the underside I did not find any rust and it was a lot cleaner than other cars that are unrestored. The trunk is clean and dry. It shows me that the car was not driven in bad weather. You have to be impressed with trim and hubcaps. Check out all the photos on our web page, dragers.com (133 total photos). The hood is the only thing that looks different just a little color shade. Maybe it was repainted at the dealership? Shows no evidence of damage at all. Its a great driving car, I have maybe driven it about 20 miles. You will be proud to own this outstanding classic. 352 V-8 engine. Automatic transmission. Power steering. Console. Stock working AM radio. Cond #3+.
